His entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to create and lead Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development, a publicly traded company on the Egyptian Stock Market. The company is a partner in the Global Compact, an initiative of the former United Nations Secretary General, the late Honorable Kofi Anan.
Dr. El Kalla is the President of GS1 Egypt and through his efforts, he was able to introduce the barcoding system to Egypt over two decades ago. GS1 Egypt is the sole numbering authority in Egypt – affiliated GS1 member organization. With over 4,000 GS1 local database-members in Egypt, the organization offers a unique identification system for all your products and services. Through the GS1 supply-chain standards, Egyptian enterprises are becoming more efficient and are sharpening their competitive edge.
His zeal for education led him to create Futures Educational Systems (FES), a consortium of schools initiated with the mission to help enhance quality and equity in education throughout Egypt. This has been accomplished through establishing an educational model that is replicable, affordable, and economically viable. The schools serve more than 25,000 students across Egypt. In an effort to provide his beloved Egypt with a comprehensive continuum of educational opportunities, Dr. Hassan founded Badr University in Cairo (BUC). BUC is a leading private university with international affiliations with universities such as Winston-Salem State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Università Degli Studi Di Torino, University of Hong Kong, and many more. The University has most recently cooperated in the development of “Capital Med” Medical City located near the New Administrative Capital of Egypt.
“Capital Med” Medical City is the first and only private sector cluster of exclusive state-of- the-art institutions of specialized medical care including Precision Medicine, an Integrated Transplant Institute, as well as other centers of excellence in the MEA region Perhaps the voluntary work of which he is most proud of is that accomplished by the Egyptian Society of Cultural Exchange (AFS Egypt); an inclusive community of global citizens: students, families and volunteers determined to build bridges between cultures. AFS Egypt provides about twelve thousand grants annually to facilitate the achievement of peace, brotherhood and enlightened dialogues around the world. Dr. Hassan was previously a prominent member of the AFS International Board of Trustees.
Recently Dr. El Kalla was recognized by the Council for Professional Recognition, home of the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program. The Council has unanimously selected Dr. El Kalla as a recipient of the CDA Inspire Award for his work in early childhood education and commitment to enhancing the quality of early childhood educators across the region. He was also recognized and awarded internationally at the Global Corporate Social Responsibility Summit 2018 at the UN for his tremendous work and continuing impact in the field of education over the past 26 years.
Prof. El Tayeb was the President of the Central Directorate and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and he was the Vice President of Postgraduate Studies, Research and International Relations at Ain Shams University.
Prof. El Tayeb was appointed as the President of Helwan University. He was the president of the Higher Committee of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at both Ain Shams and Helwan Universities. He was the head of the board of directors of the “German as Foreign Language–DAF” Joint Master’s degree program at Ain Shams University and supervised the International Education Management (Egyptian–German Master’s Program) (INEMA) since its early beginning. He is currently the Program Director of INEMA on the Egyptian side.

Dr. Badrawi is the Chair of the Board of Nile Badrawi Hospital. She has been running her own private clinic since 1974. She founded the Egyptian Association of Neonatology in 1997, the first association of Neonatology in Egypt.
Dr. Badrawi has been a Board Member of the National Medical Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities for Planning and Development of Medical Education in Egypt at a national level since 2007 until today. She also chaired the portfolio evaluation committee responsible for awarding the title of Pediatrics Professor and Assistant Professor at a national level from 2001 to 2008.
Dr. Badrawi was the main author of two published pediatrics and four Quality Assurance books. Furthermore, she has also published more than 80 papers in national and international journals. She has chaired many scientific conferences at a national, regional and international level in which she had occasionally been a keynote speaker. Dr. Badrawi is also on the board of national, Arab, and international journals in the field of neonatology and quality assurance in higher education.
At the international level, Dr. Badrawi is an expert in Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education, being a board member of the global Pediatrics consortium. Dr. Badrawi is a consultant for the World Bank, UNESCO, USAID, the European Union, the British Council, and the DAAD. She was an elected Board Member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) for three terms from 2006 to 2010. She is the president of the Arab network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE). She disseminated the culture of Quality Assurance in Higher Education at a national and regional level.
Also, he is a consultant of evaluating investment proposals and consultant of the preparation of financial and management studies for educational institutions.
Dr. Soliman is a board member of the Internal Trade Development Authority, Cairo for Investment & Real-estate Development (CIRA), NEW Soft for Software & Systems Company, Nations & Future Company, and the Egyptian Company for Medical Care Administration.

Dr. Hala was assigned as the General manager and partner of Cardiac Catheterization Center in CMC hospital from 2003 to 2015 and currently she is the CEO of “Egyptian Company for Import & Export”.
Dr. Hala, since 2015 is a Member of the Egyptian Parliament and a Member of the Healthcare Committee of the Parliament. She is a strong decision maker, project manager, problem solver, and efficient team-worker.
